Phú Quý Island is as dazzling and sparkling as its name, which in Vietnamese means wealth and honour. It is one of the many rising stars among the islands of Việt Nam.
Located 103km from Phan Thiet City in the central
province of Binh Thuan, the Phu Quy island district has become a
destination for visitors who love exploring the wild.
The skeleton of a 15 metre-long sperm whale has been
restored and is being exhibited on Phu Quy Island, in southern Binh
Thuan Province, said Dang Minh Tri, the head of the island''s Cultural
Information Department.
